PSU HRMA is a student based team looking to take human resources to the next level. We endeavor to help students achieve their goals at PSU and in their future career fields. Our student organization is committed to developing your business astuteness through informational and networking opportunities. Becoming a member of this chapter will help you make your resume stand out and get hired by an employer you want to work for. PSU HRMA is a student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and are sponsered by the Portland Human Resource Management Association (PHRMA), the local professional chapter of SHRM.

HRMA allows students to expand their contact base early, becoming recognized by peers in The School of Business and building alliances with Portland Metro professionals. PSU HRMA is here to help members learn about updated trends and topics of human resources - done through professional speaker meeting. Speaker meetings are open to member and non-members, and are held weekly at 4:15 p.m. on Thursdays in SBA 160 durring Winter term, with an exception of the first, midterms and finals weeks. Furthermore, members of PSU HRMA have the option of attending a resume workshop and an interview workshop in later terms.
